It's always a pleasure to receive the newest CD from local songsmith Jack Pound, who plays guitar and harmonica. His voice well suits his unique style and material. Listening to his songs is a real experience of every emotion. The ironic humour of 'Traveller No More', the pure emotion of 'Watcher on the Hill' and the raw open heart sadness of Stephen Lawrence, a song seen not only from a parent's view but society generally. You can hear the tears in his voice. Done in a gutsy blues style, certain to become a classic. 'Fragile Earth' - self explanatory, 'Jesus in her Soul' - him an existentialist.
